We offer all GP programmes available in Baden-Württemberg. Your benefits include:

   Your general practitioner acts as the central point of contact and coordinates all medical treatment. This improves communication between GPs and specialists and leads to more efficient care.
2. Avoidance of unnecessary examinations
   Centralised management helps prevent duplicate tests and unnecessary hospital stays, reducing the burden on patients.
3. Improved care for chronically ill patients
   Patients with chronic conditions benefit from structured and continuous care, which has been proven to reduce complications and increase life expectancy.
4. Expanded range of services
   Participants in the GP-centred care programme have access to enhanced preventive services, such as more frequent health check-ups and specialised programmes for specific conditions.
5. Better availability
   Many GP practices offer additional consultation hours under the programme – including evenings or weekends – to provide more flexible care.
6. Higher quality through ongoing training
   GPs participating in the programme commit to regular further training and quality circles, continuously improving the quality of care.
7. Free of charge for patients
   Participation in the GP-centred care programme is voluntary and free of charge. You choose a designated GP who will care for you for at least one year.
